Adam Jarosz

Senior Category Manager, Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement

Adam joined LPP from the private sector in January 2018. Before joining LPP, Adam worked as a Procurement and Contracts Manager for over 12 years, creating and delivering business-wide procurement and contract strategies, managing supplier services, and business-wide supplier audit strategies.

Aisha Achha

Pharmacy Project Manager, Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement

Aisha has worked in community and hospital pharmacies as well as a PCT in support technician roles. She worked for NHS City and Hackney for two years before joining LPP as specialist Pharmacy Support.

Anitha Preeti Raj

Workstream Procurement Support, Estates Facilities and Professional Services

Anitha has worked in the NHS since 2013 in administrative roles. She has a degree in Human Nutrition, and previously worked in the Oncology department at Guys’ Hospital.

Ash Fraser

Category Specialist, Estates, Facilities & Professional Services

Ash has private and public sector procurement experience. She was the procurement manager for an IT reseller before joining King’s College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust as the Procurement Services Manager in 2009. She later held the role at both KCH and GSTT as part of the Shared Procurement Service. More recently she was responsible for the procurement of clinical and non-clinical equipment for large capital projects at KCH and has experience in Agency and Temporary Staffing. Ash is MCIPS qualified and a Prince II Practitioner.

Azhar is a practising GP who has worked as a respiratory lead, diagnostics lead, KHP Children and Young Peoples’ Health Partnership LTC lead and “Singing for better breathing” GP lead for Lambeth. He has also filled the role of lung and primary care co-lead for Guy’s and St.Thomas’.

Elaine has more than 20 years’ experience in implementing and managing lifelong learning in vocational settings including Work Based Learning, Apprenticeship Training Schemes, Colleges, Commerce, Civil Service and the NHS. Experienced in all aspects of Apprenticeship Levy Management, Elaine is a graduate in Educational Management, a member of CIPD, qualified in Neuro Linguistic Programming and is a 360 feedback facilitator.

George Fillery

Apprentice, Corporate Services

George joined LPP in June 2018 as an apprentice in Software Development, after completing his sixth form education. He is supporting the Systems Development team. George’s qualifications are in Computer Science, IT and Media.

Graeme Webster

Systems Development and Integration Manager

Graeme has over 20 years of software development experience. Whilst at Merton Council he developed the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) platform which is now used nationally by both the private and public sectors to pre-qualify suppliers. He has an MSc in Information Technology, BCS Agile Foundation and Enterprise Architecture certificates, and is a Prince 2 Practioner.

Idris Zaw

Idris joined LPP in July 2018 as a Procurement Apprentice where he is completing his Intermediate Apprenticeship in Business Administration. He supports the Agency & Temporary Staffing Workstream in day-to-day administrative tasks and has extensive experience in customer service. After his apprenticeship, Idris would like to go into further education.

Jackie Eastwood

Associate Director, Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement

Jackie is an experienced hospital pharmacist with a background in technical and clinical pharmacy services to patients. She has specialised in intestinal failure and nutrition for the last 17 years. She was the Chairman of the British Pharmaceutical Nutrition Group for six year and is currently chair of the stakeholders group for the national framework for home parenteral nutrition and a member of the National Homecare Medicines Committee.

Jas Khambh

Chief Pharmacist and Clinical Director

Jas is an experienced pharmacist who has worked in the NHS for 20 years, as both a pharmacist and a senior manager and has a strong track record of success. Jas has led on various initiatives and programs of work across London to help deliver the objectives of the strategic QIPP programme and other medicines optimisation initiatives. More recently, Jas has been working at NHS England as the National Pharmacy Adviser for NHS RightCare, focusing on the national initiatives for Medicines Optimisation within NHS RightCare.

He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology and a Degree in English Literature. He is a specialist in creating automated reporting and analytics tools.

Joel Rocha

Strategic Analyst, Business Intelligence

Joel is a biomedical engineer who joined LPP in June 2017 as a Procurement Support Officer for the Medical and Surgical Workstream. He also has an MSc in Computing and Medical Instrumentation Engineering and a Post-Graduation course in Hospital Management. Prior to joining LPP, Joel worked for two years for the Portuguese Association of Hospital Managers.

Justin Hayde-West

Senior Pharmacist, Medicines Optimisation

Justin is an experienced hospital pharmacist with a background in surgery and critical care, and a track record of success as both a team leader and clinical manager. Justin holds a postgraduate qualification in independent prescribing and utilises this in practice as an independent prescriber. Prior to joining LPP, Justin spent a year as one of NHS England’s 2017/18 Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellows, leading on various national quality improvement projects in medicines optimisation.

Laura has worked in procurement in acute trusts for more than eight years gaining experience in a broad range of category areas. Before joining LPP in 2012 she was the Procurement Projects Manager at Chelsea & Westminster NHS Foundation Trust. She has full MCIPS and an MSc in Procurement which included a dissertation on the application of lean principles in the NHS.

Lee has more than 15 years' purchasing experience gained across a variety of industries. He has held senior sourcing positions at blue chip companies including JCB, Unipart, GE and Health Trust Europe. Academically, Lee has an MBA in Chinese Negotiation Strategy, a Post Graduate Diploma in E-Commerce and a BA (Hons) degree in American Management Science.

Matt Price

Matt has worked in public sector procurement for more than 8 years. Prior to joining NHS LPP he worked as a Procurement Business Partner at London Borough of Southwark with responsibility for their Environment and Leisure, Finance and Governance, and Children’s and Adult’s Services procurements, and has advised on individual procurements with values in excess of £250million. Matt is in the final year of his MCIPS qualification.

Michael Badham-Jones

Michael has worked in public sector procurement for two years. Prior to joining LPP, Michael worked for a Shared Procurement Service delivering on contracts for Horsham District Council, Mid Sussex District Council and Crawley Borough Council. The role included delivering open OJEU processes, open tenders, frameworks, RFQ, spend analysis and contract management. Michael has a degree in Politics and a master’s in Corruption and Governance.

Michael Pace

Michael Pace has recently been appointed as Managing Director at NHS London Procurement Partnership, with a focus on building a new vision and strategic direction for the organisation. He has a passion for the NHS, and is committed to ensuring that NHS LPP plays its part in delivering value and savings for the health sector. “Part of our strategic vision is to align objectives between NHS LPP customers and suppliers to ensure efficient synergies between supply and demand for the benefit of the NHS, patients and the public”. Prior to accepting the role at NHS LPP, Michael was part of a senior category team responsible for the implementation of the new NHS Supply Chain Operating Model. His continued close working relationships with key stakeholders supports our organisational aim to ensure collaboration and partnership working. With over 30 years of senior procurement experience, Michael has led both global and UK-wide projects in the retail and manufacturing sectors before joining the NHS. Working in both the United Kingdom and North America, Michael’s approach has delivered significant savings for blue-chip clients and improved quality across all environments.

MIchelle McCann

Michelle is MCIPS qualified with over 15 years’ experience in Estates & Facilities having been involved in the strategic procurement, project management and financial management of several works programmes. Michelle was Head of Procurement at Goldsmiths College before joining the LPP and while working at the Medial Research Council was part of the project team that delivered the full business case for the Francis Crick Institute in Kings Cross.

Moynul Islam

Strategic Analyst, Business Intelligence

Moynul is a graduate with a background in analytics. He has held various roles in the acute sector, and is passionate about charity - he spent nine months working as a volunteer for UNICEF in an orphanage in South Africa. Moynul also volunteered for the Macmillan Cancer Centre in Central London as a student ambassador, and has run marathons for breast and bowel cancer raising more than £5.5k in the process.

Nicola Atack

Nicola's career in the NHS began in 2007 when she joined the King’s College Hospital procurement department. She was the procurement systems lead for the Trust’s Omnicell cabinet implementation and in 2011 she became the Head of Systems for the Guy’s & St Thomas’ and King’s College Hospital Procurement Shared Service, responsible for all procurement technology and requisition processing across both trusts. She has an MA and is a Prince 2 Practitioner.

Pauline is a hospital pharmacist leading on Cancer and Chemotherapy for a District General Hospital and a member of the London Cancer New Drugs Group. She was the North West London Cancer Network Pharmacist for five years and is now an active member of several groups for London Cancer Alliance.

Rebecca is an experienced dietitian and has worked in community and acute healthcare, adults and paediatrics. She is leading on the nutrition workstream and coordinating dietetic work in this area. Rebecca also manages the paediatric dietitians at the Royal Free.

Shah Miah joined NHS London Procurement Partnership (LPP) in late 2016 as an apprentice and went on to generate an income of £2m for the organisation in the last financial year. Shah’s hard work and dedication saw him win Apprentice of the Year at the Unsung Hero Awards in 2018. Shah also has extensive experience in the private sector, working in sales management for the gaming industry.

Stephanie joined LPP from Brighton & Sussex University NHS Trust where she was a Senior Buyer, having begun her career there as a Junior Buyer specialising in Estates and Facilities, and Medical and Surgical. She also spent a year getting to know the Bank system, placing nurses, medical locums and admin staff into suitable and available job roles.

Steve has worked across a wide range of procurement functions within the NHS and wider public sector. He also has a commercial track record in consulting and business development. Before joining LPP Steve was at EGS as Head of Business Process Outsourcing and prior to that he was at Improvement and Efficiency South East where he helped 74 local authorities collaborate and meet their efficiency savings.

Sue Williams is an experienced dietitian who has worked in both acute and community settings. Sue has experience working in adult and paediatric roles and most recently worked with home enteral tube feed patients.

After exclusively working in the private sector, Tim has now worked in the NHS for more than 10 years, initially at Imperial, and most recently at PPS as Senior Category Manager. Here, Tim focused on the procurement of Agency Staffing and associated requirements, for up to six Trusts. Tim has a broad experience in various areas of NHS tendering, and is fully MCIPS qualified.

Zarah Perry-Woodford

Zarah has over 20 years’ experience as a registered general nurse and worked in a variety of settings within the military, private sector and NHS. Currently she is on a secondment from London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust where she works as a Consultant Nurse in Stoma Care. This role includes direct patient care as well as leading on stoma care education nationally and internationally, research and development.
