New categories and End Point Assessment organisations added to Apprenticeships DPS
The DPS for Apprenticeship Training Providers has a number of new Apprenticeship categories, and is also being extended in scope to include the facility for employers to engage with End Point Assessment organisations.
Hence End Point Assessment organisations are now welcome to bid for all of the categories/regions covered by the DPS.
An addendum to the original OJEU notice (2017/S 041-074961) was published in OJEU on the 30th November 2017. Any potential providers wishing to apply should follow the link in the OJEU notice to the LPP’s eTendering portal, register on the portal and then submit an online questionnaire for the opportunity (project ID DN240205). The closing date for submissions under the new categories and for End Point Assessment Organisations will be 5pm 2nd January 2018. This deadline is for bidders who wish their submission to be evaluated in the first tranche of evaluations. After this the DPS will still be open (it is open continuously) to submit applications, and all subsequent applications will be evaluated within 10 working days.
LPP will be holding a supplier briefing event for End Point Assessor organisations on Friday January 19th 2018 from 11am-12 noon where we will explain how the DPS is structured, how it operates and how Contracting Authorities will use it in order to contract with suppliers.
The additional Apprenticeship categories now added to the DPS are:
- Project Management
- Service Improvement
- Education and Training
Full information on the DPS is available on the LPP website.
