New Commercial Arrangements

The following arrangements have been established during the past 12 months;

Printer Consumables

An agreement has been reached with the Government Procurement Service (GPS) which enables member trusts to access the Central Government contract for stationery and printer consumables. The 12 trusts that have signed up to date for printer consumables are expected to realise average savings of 26 per cent.

Printers

Working with the National Education Procurement Consortia, LPP has awarded a framework agreement for desktop printers and MFDs which includes six manufacturers: Canon, Dell, HP, Kyocera, Brother and Samsung. HP is available both through HP direct and through three others resellers.

Digital Dictation, Voice Recognition Software and Transcription Services

In collaboration with NHS Commercial Alliance, LPP has established a framework which includes five lots covering Dictation Hardware, Digital Dictation workflow , Speech Recognition , Outsourced Transcription Services and Bespoke Managed Services.

Encrypted Memory Sticks

LPP’s previous arrangement for encrypted memory sticks with Probrand expired on 31st January, 2012. An alternate arrangement under the GPS stationery contract has been entered into with Banner Office Suppliers. The Kingston brand memory sticks available under the arrangement are very competitively priced and delivered free without any additional charge.
Further information on all of the above arrangements can be found on the LPP website or by contacting Ajay Channana at 020 7188 6939 ajay.channana@lpp.nhs.uk
