Call for case studies for Medicines Optimisation Conference

Call for case studies for Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement Conference July 11th 2016

Deadline for submissions: Tuesday 21st June 2016

This year, as part of our annual LPP Medicines Optimisation and Pharmacy Procurement Conference being held on 11th July 2016 we are inviting you to submit case studies on Medicines Optimisation projects completed locally. We are looking for case studies on any area of Medicines Optimisation in primary or secondary care.

We would like to produce ‘best practice’ posters featuring the winning entry(ies) for display at the conference on July 11th. Please note that in providing your submission you will be giving us permission to develop the poster itself, which will fully acknowledge your authorship. If we have sufficient high quality entries, we also reserve the right to include those in a ‘best practice’ guide for London – this may take the format of a booklet or other printed item, and if your submission is included we will again fully acknowledge your authorship. A prize will be available for the winning entry.

How to enter:
Please provide your submission in Word format, no more than 800 words, and please ensure your entry considers the following:

1. What was the background to your work – why did you undertake it, what issue(s) did it seek to address?
2. What approach did you adopt and why?
3. What was your overall objective?
4. What practical work was undertaken?
5. What was the result?
6. Why was this an example of best practice?

Please submit your case studies to Jas Khambh by Tuesday 21st June 2016: jas.khambh@lpp.nhs.uk.
