GS1 guidance published for members

LPP has created an area on its website to disseminate any guidance material and templates released by the Department of Health, to support trusts in their adoption and planning of GS1 and PEPPOL standards.

Since the publication of the NHS eProcurement Strategy in May 2014, acute NHS trusts in England have been aware that they are required to implement GS1 barcoding and PEPPOL messaging standards within their organisation.Any useful guidance documents are now available to LPP members through the website.
