NHS LPP Annual Conference 2022

We’re delighted to bring the NHS LPP Annual Members’ Conference to you this year in person at Congress Centre, 28 Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LS on Tuesday 27 September 2022.

We can’t wait to see you in person to re-connect over a day packed with discussion on how we, as an NHS procurement family, can come together to tackle the challenges we’re facing at the moment.

We are inviting you to join us and guest speakers to discuss and debate the latest information, updates and insights together. We want to build a day that is about our collective insights, and we have built in plenty of time to interact with each other and the teams at NHS LPP. We will end the day with a networking reception to give us all the opportunity to meet with each other face to face again, celebrating your incredible achievements over the past couple of years.

About the venue

Congress Centre is a contemporary conference complex which is perfect to host our event. Helping attendees to reduce their carbon footprint is important to us, so we picked this location as it’s conveniently located in the heart of London’s West End and a short three minute walk from the nearest tube station, Tottenham Court Road, with other good public transport links. You can find more information here to plan your travel.

Conference themes in 2022

The agenda will share our collective knowledge, to find solutions to today’s current issues.

  • Resilience

This year, we’ll reflect on how we can help support resilience in the NHS, focused on people and places. Faced with demanding efficiency and financial targets, we’ll explore the opportunities collaboration and innovation present in driving effective solutions.

  • People

Looking at the immediate and longer term challenges facing our workforce and solutions that are aligned to the NHS People Plan.

  • Place

The need to address flow and demand is a constant challenge and becoming more critical. Innovation is key, and with the creation of virtual wards on the rise freeing up 2500 beds already, we want to explore how else can we support trusts.

The challenges presented by the hike in energy prices, and our commitment as one organisation to achieve net zero by 2025 is high on the NHS agenda and will also present opportunities to support the NHS.

  • Health inequalities

Where have we got to in relation to the vision to achieve exceptional quality healthcare for all through equitable access? And what can the procurement community do to move us along the journey further?
