Health & Social Care Apps Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS)
NHS LPP can help you discover and purchase evaluated digital health technologies quickly and easily, supporting safer and faster adoption across health and care.
This DPS provides the public sector within the UK with a compliant route to market for the procurement of condition specific apps and web based platforms. This resource enables teams to view, search and access independently assessed digital health solutions, helping to reduce risk, streamline decision-making, and improve outcomes for patients and communities.
With coverage across more than 25 areas of care, and many additional sub-categories — covering things such as Diabetes, Cardiovascular, Child Health, Mental Health, Pregnancy, Cancer and Weight - it has never been easier to identify digital tools that are safe, effective, and ready for use in practice.

The adoption of apps has already been proven to reduce GP visits, prevent costly trips to A&E, lower usage of prescription drugs and to help close the population health inequalities, delivering both direct and indirect savings and benefits.
The proposed approach will deliver the following benefits:
-
Aggregation of spend across the public sector, increasing buying power and enabling improved value for money in line with HM Treasury requirements.
-
Improved cashable savings for the NHS and wider public sector through commercial leverage and standardised pricing.
-
Reduced duplication of effort by avoiding multiple, parallel procurement exercises across organisations.
-
Shorter procurement timescales, benefiting both contracting authorities and suppliers.
-
More efficient use of internal resources, allowing organisations to focus on delivery rather than repeated tendering activity.
-
Stronger strategic relationships with key suppliers, supporting cost reduction, performance improvement, and innovation.
-
Improved alignment with public sector priorities, including NHS digital transformation and local government objectives.
