This website has been created following NHS England guidelines on accessibility, branding and identity. We endeavour to make www.lpp.nhs.uk as accessible and usable as possible for every user, and in accordance and compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2.

Compatibility with tools
Our website www.lpp.nhs.uk should be compatible with current versions of assistive software including:

Downloadable documents
Downloadable documents are most commonly published in PDF format and Word. Our PDFs are formatted in line with the most recent requirements.
Most computers already have the software to open these document formats. If you cannot open PDF documents, download Acrobat Reader.
Saving documents to your computer
If you have a PC, right-click on the link to the document. If you use an Apple Mac, hold down the mouse button over the link. In both cases, a popup menu will then appear. From the menu click on 'Save target as'. You will then be asked to choose a folder on your computer into which you can save the document.

What we do to help you
We have designed this website to be consistent, clear and easy to navigate.
Every page includes a consistent main navigation menu and search function, helping you find information and understand where you are on the website.

- We use appropriate page structure, labels and navigation to support people using screen readers and other assistive technologies.
- Images include alternative text where needed, so their meaning or purpose can be understood by people using screen readers or text-only browsers.
- We use descriptive link text that makes sense out of context. This is particularly helpful for people using screen readers, where links may be presented as a separate list.
- We use clear headings, short sections and bullet points to make information easier to scan and understand.
- We use text and link colours with sufficient contrast against their backgrounds.
- We aim to write all information in clear, straightforward language.
