Jas joins another Gov.UK advisory panel

Jas Khambh our Clinical Director for Healthcare & Pharmacy Services & Chief Pharmacist, has been appointed as a Chair for the UK Government's Drug Tariff Independent Advisory Panel: Part IX.

Jas will support the assessment of medical devices listed in Part IX of the NHS England and Wales Drug Tariff. Part IX contains a list of appliances and chemical reagents approved by NHS Prescription Services on behalf of the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care for prescribing at NHS expense by an appropriate practitioner.

Jas said: “I’m really excited to be supporting the Department of Health (DoH) with this key piece of work. The main role of the panel is to make sure that we provide expert and patient informed recommendations for the drug tariff.”
