Working with us once awarded
Find out what to expect once appointed to an NHS LPP agreement, including supplier relationship management, ABI, MI reporting and marketing guidance.
After award, NHS LPP will provide appointed suppliers with information about the agreement, next steps and any requirements needed before launch.
Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)
- Activity Based Income (ABI)
We keep any Activity Based Income (ABI) charges at, or below the market rate. As an NHS organisation, all ABI generated from our work with suppliers is reinvested back into the NHS - either to NHS LPP to help with our work to support trusts, or to the trusts themselves. For an overview of what's involved with ABI at NHS LPP, please see our Supplier ABI guide.
- Supplier Management Information (MI) Reporting
Suppliers awarded a place on an NHS LPP framework agreement are contractually required to submit Management Information (MI) through the my.lpp portal. This information is used to calculate the Activity Based Income (ABI) payable to NHS LPP. ABI is charged as a percentage of the contracted spend reported and is normally invoiced monthly in arrears from the contract start date, based on the spend submitted by suppliers through their MI uploads.
All suppliers awarded a place on an NHS LPP framework will receive a more detailed ABI Submitting Management Information Guide which explains the MI reporting requirements and process in more detail.
Registration for the my.lpp portal should only be used by suppliers that have been awarded a place on one of our frameworks or DPS.
Suppliers appointed to a DPS should generally register only once they have successfully secured business through the DPS and therefore have Management Information to report. If there is any uncertainty about whether registration is required, suppliers should contact the relevant NHS LPP Category Framework Manager before registering.
- Marketing and promotion support
Once you have been awarded a place on one of our frameworks or a DPS, you may wish to promote this in external communications to your organisation's audiences. We can provide guidance to help ensure promotional activity is accurate and aligned with the scope of the agreement. To help you manage this effectively and accurately, we've pulled together a guide: NHS LPP Supplier guidance on promotion. If you have any questions on this, please contact the relevant Category Manager in the first instance, who will work with our Communications team to support you.
