Carbon Literacy Action Day 2026
Carbon Literacy Action Day takes place 9 - 12 November 2026 - the world’s largest climate education and action event of its kind, uniting individuals across the globe to collectively act against climate change.
At NHS London Procurement Partnership (NHS LPP), we understand the importance of the relationship between carbon literacy and procurement. That’s why last year we were the first NHS organisation accredited Silver Carbon Literate. Now, we are striving for the Gold status and we are proud to be holding more sessions for staff to become Carbon Literate.
Michelle McCann, NHS LPP Chief Sustainability and Innovation Officer, said: “We want to create real and measurable impact in terms of carbon reduction. That is why we have worked with the Carbon Literacy Project to provide our staff with the information they need to be Carbon Literate and ultimately reduce carbon in both their professional and personal lives.”
