Celebrating 20 years of NHS LPP
This month, NHS London Procurement Partnership celebrates it’s 20 year anniversary. On 17 September 2026, we were pleased to welcome members, current and former staff and some of the wider NHS procurement community to our anniversary event, which was the highlight of our celebrations.
We were joined by 80 attendees for an afternoon of reflections and speeches from Sir David Sloman, Senior Advisor, SDMS Advisory Ltd and former Chief Operating Officer for NHS England, Dr Azhar Saleem, GP Partner, South Lambeth Road Practice, The Deerbrook Surgery and The Corner Surgery and Dr Vincent Mak, Consultant in Respiratory Integrated Care, Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and Lizzie Smith, Chief People Officer at NHS England (London).
At the event, we premiered a special anniversary video in two parts, which you can watch here in part one and part two – featuring some familiar faces from the world of NHS procurement.
There was also a chance to announce and celebrate our latest staff award winners. Congratulations to our winners listed below:

- Trish de Souza, Marketing and Communications Manager - You Made a Difference Award
- Simon Rowland, Sustainability Manager - Inspirational Leader Award
- BSO team - You Made a Difference Award
- Shah Miah, Category Manager - Krunal Sunshine Award – a very special award set up in memory of former NHS LPP colleague, Krunal Sharma, who sadly passed away in 2021 to bowel cancer. It is named our ‘sunshine award’ as Krunal was always making others smile with his positive attitude and fun-loving ways.
In addition to our event, we have been running our #NHSLPP20 social media campaign, featuring staff stories, NHS LPP stats and timelines, and a blog from our Managing Director, Lee Joseph.
