National IT Procurement Forum

All NHS trust, ICB and NHS Supply Chain colleagues working in IT/digital categories and digital procurement are invited to attend the next National IT Procurement Forum which takes place on 8 June 2023 online.

About the Forum
The National IT Procurement Forum was established in 2022. It was initiated by the Information Management & Technology (IM&T) Category Manager at University Hospitals Plymouth NHS Trust and developed into a collaboration with NHS Procurement in Partnership (NHS PiP) which provides administrative and facilitation support. Its purpose is to provide a networking and information-sharing forum for trust IT Procurement colleagues nationally, with the focus and priorities being determined by topics that are most current within trusts.

Format
The Forum is hosted online using Microsoft Teams, with a standing agenda that encourages participation and the exchange of ideas, intelligence and information. Its objective is to provide a level of peer support enabling colleagues to follow up off-line on specific issues. Each meeting has a speaker invited to present on a relevant topic to update, share knowledge and facilitate discussion with participants.

Frequency
The group currently meets quarterly through the year, with two hours allocated for each session to optimise on the opportunity.
