NHS LPP is offering its members the opportunity to take on procurement apprentices without the time and cost of appointing a training provider.

NHS LPP’s latest dynamic purchasing system – Minor Works and Maintenance – launched in July 2020 is recognised by our members and other public sector organisations as an effective and useful way to procure bespoke works and maintenance packages through a fast and compliant route. And it’s growing fast. Since July of this year NHS LPP has had 36 expressions of interest from contracting authorities wishing to use the new agreement, five projects have been tendered and one contract has been let. Suppliers are equally pleased with the outcome.

While green issues are growing in importance, for most NHS organisations the need to keep delivering at pace and in a cost effective way must often take priority.

A new Clinical and Healthcare Staffing framework from the NHS Workforce Alliance has launched. The framework is an expansion for the Collaborative Procurement Partnership (CPP) National Clinical Staffing and Crown Commercial Service Multidisciplinary Temporary Healthcare Personnel frameworks which are due to expire in February 2021. It is aimed at offering trusts further support in the recruitment of temporary healthcare staffing services.

An analytical tool to help NHS organisations plan their staffing developed by NHS LPP has been recognised with a win in the prestigious Go Awards and a highly commended at the Healthcare People Management Association (HPMA) Awards.
